The State Administration for Market Regulation issued Announcement No. 24 of 2024. The administration, together with relevant departments of the State Council, thoroughly implements the new development philosophy with the goals of promoting consumption, expanding domestic demand, leading green consumption, and fostering the development of new quality productivity. Focusing on high-quality industrial development and green low-carbon transformation, and taking into account key areas in the strategic standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the self-declaration and disclosure status of enterprise standards, consumer attention, and the effectiveness of standards in improving product and service quality, it has proposed and released the "Key Areas for Implementing Enterprise Standards 'Pacesetters' in 2024," which includes a total of 146 key areas.

To implement the requirements of the "National Standardization Development Outline" and the "Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Upgrades and Consumer Goods Trade-in," and based on the "Opinions of the State Administration for Market Regulation and Eight Other Departments on Implementing the Enterprise Standards 'Pacesetter' System," the State Administration for Market Regulation, together with relevant departments of the State Council, thoroughly implements the new development philosophy with the goals of promoting consumption, expanding domestic demand, leading green consumption, and fostering the development of new quality productivity.
