In particular, they significantly reinforce the duties and responsibilities of top management in the operation and auditing processes of the system. The implementation of these rules imposes stringent requirements on quality management system certification. Organizations applying for certification, certified organizations, certification bodies, auditors, and managers that fail to meet these requirements will face substantial business and professional risks.
