On July 1, 2024, national standards such as "Synthetic Material Surface Track and Field for Primary and Secondary Schools," "Synthetic Material Surface Basketball Courts for Primary and Secondary Schools," "Artificial Turf Football Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools," "National Ecotourism Area Operation Management Specification," and "Tourist Scenic Area Public Information Guidance System Setup Specification" will come into effect, providing technical support for caring for children and improving the quality of life for the public.
Three national standards including "Synthetic Material Surface Track and Field for Primary and Secondary Schools"
The three national standards, "Synthetic Material Surface Track and Field for Primary and Secondary Schools" (GB/T 43564—2023), "Synthetic Material Surface Basketball Courts for Primary and Secondary Schools" (GB/T 43565—2023), and "Artificial Turf Football Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools" (GB/T 43566—2023), mainly specify normative requirements for the appearance and specifications, marking lines, flatness, and physical and mechanical properties of synthetic material surfaces for track and field, basketball courts, and artificial turf football fields in primary and secondary schools. As supporting standards to the mandatory national standard "Synthetic Material Surface Sports Fields for Primary and Secondary Schools" (GB 36246—2018), these three standards clarify the performance requirements for related materials of school sports fields and will provide technical support for the construction of sports fields in primary and secondary schools.
"National Ecotourism Area Operation Management Specification"
(GB/T 26362—2024)
The standard further regulates ecological protection, community participation, ecological education, and brand communication in scenic areas, improving requirements for resources, environment, products, services, facilities, functions, and management in ecotourism areas. It can help ecotourism areas enhance the standardization of operation management and promote the healthy and sustainable development of ecotourism in China.
"Tourist Scenic Area Public Information Guidance System Setup Specification"
(GB/T 31384—2024)
The standard improves the composition, design of guidance elements, and setup requirements of public information guidance systems in tourist scenic areas, helping to further enhance the soft environment and service quality of tourist scenic areas, assisting tourists in better utilizing tourism resources and facilities, and improving travel comfort and satisfaction.
"Guidelines for Sustainability Evaluation of Large-scale Events"
(GB/T 44160—2024)
The standard summarizes the sustainable management experience of successfully hosting the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, establishing 35 sustainability evaluation indicators across 7 categories for various large-scale events. It will provide references for improving sustainability management levels and scientifically evaluating the sustainability of large-scale events.
"Technical Specification for Testing Lightning Protection Devices of Buildings"
(GB/T 21431—2023)
The standard specifies the testing requirements and methods for lightning protection devices of buildings and structures. It proposes measurement methods for transition resistance and electromagnetic pulse magnetic field intensity caused by lightning strikes, providing a basis for testing lightning protection devices. This plays a positive role in improving lightning protection testing technology, promoting the development of lightning disaster prevention and mitigation across society, and helping to safeguard people's lives and property.
"Fireproof Sealing Materials"
(GB 23864—2023)
The standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, use of fire resistance test results, packaging, marking, storage, and transportation requirements for fireproof sealing materials. It applies to industrial and civil buildings, structures, and various facilities. As an important part of the building fire separation system, it will provide technical support to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
"Green Product Evaluation: Logistics Turnover Boxes"
(GB/T 43802—2024)
The standard specifies the evaluation requirements and methods for green products of logistics turnover boxes, helping to guide logistics turnover box manufacturers to promote green product design and production, increase the supply of green products by logistics companies, and promote green, low-carbon, and sustainable development in the logistics industry.
"Guidelines for the Use of Recyclable Packaging for Mail and Express Items"
(GB/T 43805—2024)
The standard provides general guidelines for the recycling and reuse of mail and express packaging in the postal and express delivery industry, helping to improve the recycling efficiency of mail and express packaging and enhance the standardization, recyclability, reduction, and harmlessness of mail and express packaging.
"Lithium-ion Batteries for Power Storage"
(GB/T 36276—2023)
The standard specifies relevant terms and definitions for lithium-ion batteries used in power storage, as well as key technical requirements closely related to quality and safety such as energy efficiency, rate performance, cycle performance, short circuit, and thermal runaway, along with corresponding test conditions and methods. This standard will promote technological upgrades and transformation of lithium-ion batteries for power storage and provide technical support for the high-quality development of the battery storage industry.

Based on the strategic plan proposed by the headquarters, United Zhiye takes the upgrade of its product system as a key driver to build a three-tiered business structure—comprising “zero-carbon factory solutions + carbon-related products + integrated comprehensive services”—and thereby develop end-to-end service capabilities. The original enterprise’s integrated approach to low-carbon development has been upgraded to an integrated approach to zero-carbon development, which we regard as a milestone event. While the zero-carbon factory business focuses on deepening engagement in the manufacturing sector, the integrated approach to zero-carbon enterprise development transcends industry boundaries, extending its reach to the service sector and thus covering a broader scope of services.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the latest revised "Administrative Measures for the Tiered Cultivation of High-Quality Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), which have expanded the scope of cultivation by including technology-based SMEs in the tiered cultivation system for the first time. In the future, the tiered system for high-quality SMEs will encompass technology- and innovation-driven SMEs, specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs, and "Little Giant" enterprises that are specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative. The "Measures" will take effect from April 1, 2026.
Recently, five departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration—jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories" (MIIT Joint [2026] No. 13, hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). These opinions aim to tap deeply into the potential for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial and information technology sectors, drive carbon reduction and efficiency improvements in key industries, promote a green and low-carbon transformation, and foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
This standardization effort will provide an in-depth interpretation of the new version of the rules and systematically analyze the significant changes and implementation requirements of the new rules in areas such as audit procedures, responsibilities of top management, evidence management, and risk control.
