[Green Development] United Intelligence invited to attend the Beijing Energy Society plaque awarding ceremony and technical exchange meeting


On May 17, 2021, the Beijing Energy Society held a plaque awarding ceremony and exchange meeting in Beijing to strengthen communication and exchange among society members and better serve them. United Intelligence was invited to participate in this exchange meeting.

Deputy Secretary-General Li Zhongwu of the Beijing Energy Society, Executive Vice President Liu Dawei of the Beijing Energy Society, and Deputy Director Jiang Kai of the National Energy Group Green Energy and Building Research Center attended the meeting. The meeting focused on the plaque awarding ceremony and technical exchanges on zero-carbon buildings and new energy applications. Deputy Secretary-General Li Zhongwu gave a detailed explanation of the "development strategy, R&D direction, technical route, market route, and marketing strategy" for zero-carbon buildings and new energy. Subsequently, Executive Vice President Liu Dawei also discussed the concept, application, and practical case achievements of "new energy."

Recently, five departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration—jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories" (MIIT Joint [2026] No. 13, hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). These opinions aim to tap deeply into the potential for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial and information technology sectors, drive carbon reduction and efficiency improvements in key industries, promote a green and low-carbon transformation, and foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
