[World Accreditation Day Special] United Intelligence Invited to Participate in Hubei Province Certification/Testing Institutions Public Commitment Event


      On June 10, the Hubei Provincial Market Supervision Administration held the provincial certification, accreditation, and inspection and testing management work meeting and media briefing, as part of the "World Accreditation Day" series of activities in Hubei. About 80 people, including leaders from various cities and provincial bureau directly affiliated units and the National Quality Inspection Center, attended the meeting. Mr. Wan Meikui from Beijing United Intelligence Certification Co., Ltd. Wuhan branch was invited to participate in this meeting.

      At the meeting, Deng Min, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Provincial Market Supervision Administration, released the "Statistical Analysis Report on Hubei Province's Inspection and Testing Service Industry" and the situation of the province's certification and inspection system carrying out the "Study Party History and Do Practical Work" activity. Deputy Director Deng Min put forward requirements and expectations for inspection, testing, and certification and accreditation institutions from three aspects: compliance, integrity, and innovation. He finally emphasized: Certification bodies should act according to the trend, convey trust to market entities, improve efficiency for administrative supervision, support economic development, and wished Hubei's inspection, testing, and certification institutions to get better and their brands stronger.

An important part of the meeting was the public commitment activity. Beijing United Intelligence Certification Co., Ltd. Wuhan branch was invited to participate along with representatives from six certification bodies including Fangyuan, CQC, and classification societies. Everyone signed the "Public Commitment Letter" in turn and issued an appeal to nearly two thousand inspection, testing, and certification institutions across the province: We promise to abide by laws and regulations! We promise to be scientific and fair! We promise to be honest and trustworthy! We promise strict confidentiality!

In the future, the tiered system for high-quality SMEs will encompass technology- and innovation-driven SMEs, specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs, and "Little Giant" enterprises that are specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative. The "Measures" will take effect from April 1, 2026.


Five departments jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Carrying Out the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories."

Recently, five departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration—jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories" (MIIT Joint [2026] No. 13, hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). These opinions aim to tap deeply into the potential for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial and information technology sectors, drive carbon reduction and efficiency improvements in key industries, promote a green and low-carbon transformation, and foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
