To further accelerate the development of green product certification, guide the production and application of green building materials, and achieve transformation and upgrading as soon as possible, a training session on the differences between green product certification and green building material product certification was held jointly with Zhiyie Certification Company on April 26, 2022. The meeting was conducted in a combination of online and offline formats, with nearly one hundred participants including heads of building material enterprises and relevant personnel from quality, environment, safety, and administrative departments.

This training specially invited Ms. Li Lingling, a key member of the Quality Management Department, to give lectures focusing on the introduction of green product certification, green building material product certification, the differences between green product certification and green building material product certification, the promotion and application of green product certification, as well as the certification process and application acceptance conditions. During the training, Ms. Li answered questions on-site to clarify doubts, hoping that enterprise leaders could understand the differences between green product certification and green building material product certification through this training, apply what they have learned, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent product certification work with a standardized certification model.

Recently, five departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration—jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories" (MIIT Joint [2026] No. 13, hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). These opinions aim to tap deeply into the potential for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial and information technology sectors, drive carbon reduction and efficiency improvements in key industries, promote a green and low-carbon transformation, and foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
