"Regulations on Certification and Accreditation" and 27 other items! The State Administration for Market Regulation deploys key legislative tasks for 2025

In promoting the improvement and efficiency of market access and fostering the healthy development of business entities, it is planned to formulate regulations such as the Measures for the Management of Business Entity Registration Archives, the Measures for Credit Restoration Management in Market Supervision, and the Provisions of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Implementing the Mandatory Deregistration System for Companies under the Company Law of the People's Republic of China.

In enhancing the effectiveness of fair competition policy implementation and creating a fair and just market environment, it is planned to promote the revision of the Prohibition of Pyramid Selling Regulations, formulate and revise the Implementation Measures for Fair Competition Review Regulations, Provisions on Prohibiting Monopoly Agreements, Provisions on the Protection of Trade Secrets, and Provisions on Preventing Abuse of Administrative Power to Exclude or Restrict Competition.

In improving the normalized regulatory system for the platform economy and promoting the standardized development of the platform economy, it is planned to formulate regulations such as the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Online Trading Platforms, the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Live E-commerce, and the Regulations on the Quality and Safety Supervision and Administration of Key Industrial Products Sold Online.

In strengthening quality support and standard guidance to enhance the level of quality development, it is planned to promote the revision of laws and administrative regulations such as the Product Quality Law and the Certification and Accreditation Regulations, and to formulate and revise regulations including the Measures for the Quality Supervision and Administration of Textile Products, the Measures for the Management of Standard Substances, the Measures for the Adoption of International Standards, and the Administrative Licensing Measures for the Manufacture and Repair of Measuring Instruments.

In preventing and resolving major safety risks related to "three products and one special" and maintaining the safety bottom line, it is planned to promote the formulation and revision of laws and administrative regulations such as the Food Safety Law, the Medical Device Administration Law, the Regulations on the Administration of Industrial Product Production Licenses, the Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, and the Regulations on the Protection of Traditional Chinese Medicine Varieties, as well as to formulate and revise regulations including the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Food Commissioned Production, the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Food Labeling, and the Measures for Food Recall Management.

The State Administration for Market Regulation will, in accordance with the requirements of scientific, democratic, and law-based legislation, steadily advance each legislative project, promote good governance through sound laws, continuously enhance the systematicness, coordination, and timeliness of market regulation legal systems, and provide legal guarantees for the high-quality development of market regulation work.
