United Wisdom Industry Green Product Certification Welcomes New Member

Recently, Beijing United Intelligence Certification Co., Ltd. has obtained approval qualifications from the Certification and Accreditation Administration for the certification of insulation materials, waterproof and sealing materials, and ceramic tiles (boards) as green products. Currently, United Intelligence's green product certification fields include: textile products, solar water heating systems, artificial boards and wooden flooring, coatings, sanitary ceramics, insulation materials, waterproof and sealing materials, and ceramic tiles (boards).

As an independent third-party certification body, Beijing United Intelligence can carry out certification activities in eight major categories of green products including approved textile products. It also provides "one-stop green" management system certification services related to China's green product certification, such as quality management systems, environmental management systems, occupational health and safety management systems, and energy management systems. It guides enterprises to consider minimizing environmental impact, reducing resource consumption, using as few or no toxic and harmful raw materials as possible, and reducing pollutant generation and emissions throughout the entire product lifecycle, including design and development, raw material selection, production, sales, use, recycling, and disposal.

Currently, there are 15 categories of green product certifications in China. According to the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting Standards, Certification, and Labeling of Green Building Materials" (Document No. Guo Zhi Jian Ren Lian [2017] 544) and the "Notice from the General Office of the State Administration for Market Regulation, the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Issuing the Implementation Plan for Green Building Material Product Certification" (Document No. Ren Jian Wei [2019] 61), building material products certified according to the national standard for green product evaluation within the certification catalog are equivalent to three-star green building material evaluation. The Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and others have successively introduced a series of policies making green building materials a substantive condition for government procurement. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the application ratio of green building materials in engineering construction will be significantly increased. This means that obtaining China's green product certification will also give you a competitive advantage in government investment projects, green buildings, prefabricated buildings, and other construction projects.
