At the recent provincial on-site promotion meeting for the construction of strong agricultural industrial towns held in Jinchang City, Shaanxi Province actively sought national project support and advanced the implementation of industrial strong town construction projects, injecting new vitality into the high-quality development of rural industries. As one of the provinces piloting the creation of strong agricultural industrial towns nationwide, since 2018, Shaanxi Province has secured a total of 300 million yuan in central government funding, supporting 29 towns to implement agricultural industrial strong town construction projects through methods such as awards instead of subsidies and building first then subsidizing.

The construction of strong agricultural industrial towns has injected new vitality into the high-quality development of rural industries in Shaanxi Province, playing a significant role in strengthening leading industries and promoting industrial integration and integration of industry and city. Since the project implementation, it has cumulatively driven over 2,000 returning and local personnel to find employment and start businesses nearby.

In April this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance released the 2021 list of agricultural industry integration development projects. Shaanxi Province will follow the construction requirements of the agricultural industrial strong town projects, highlight key content, innovate working methods, refine and implement plans, complete construction tasks with quality and quantity assurance, focus on strengthening leading agricultural industries, strive to cultivate industrial integration entities, innovate and improve benefit linkage mechanisms, integrate and optimize industrial policy systems, and comprehensively promote rural industrial revitalization.
