Stepping into a New Wave, Advancing to a New Milestone — The Mid-Year Work Meeting of United Intelligence Productivity Group Successfully Held

On July 10th, United Intelligence Productivity Group held the 2021 mid-year work meeting themed "Consolidate Management Foundation, Break Through Operational Bottlenecks." The group's senior management, key management members, and expert consultants totaling 120 people attended the meeting, which successfully completed all agenda items with excellent results, inspiring progress.

July 2021 marks the vibrant 24th birthday of United Intelligence. Looking back, the achievements are outstanding; looking forward, confidence is full. Over the past 24 years, United Intelligence has achieved progressive development through exploration and advancement, foundation building, and strategic foresight. It has established a nationwide "five-in-one" value provision model of high-quality development, green development, intellectual capital development, innovation development, and systematic development. Driven by the dual engines of the productivity group's five major technical business areas—green low-carbon, ecological environment, standard certification, emergency safety, and information technology—and the development group's business content, every step forward adheres to the mission of "integrating resources, serving urban development, promoting industrial upgrading, forging excellent organizations, and enhancing everyone's happiness."

At the beginning of the meeting, United Intelligence's leader and group chairman Chen Yong delivered the keynote speech titled "On the New Group Business Platform, Consolidate Management Foundation and Break Through Operational Bottlenecks."

The chairman deeply analyzed three aspects: the domestic and international political and economic situation, the status of industries related to the group's business, and United Intelligence's own development status. He explained the group's development path and breakthrough points. This year, the global pandemic has become normalized, economies worldwide struggle to recover, China's dual circulation development model stands out, and the economy shows a clear K-shaped trend. Our routine business pressures have significantly increased. Although efforts are made to maintain business levels similar to last year, imbalances and uncertainties have intensified. Therefore, we must demonstrate innovation and high quality in the market and serve customers. On the new group business platform, we will continue to consolidate management foundations and strive to break through business bottlenecks. This year is a milestone year for the group. In the first half, based on last year's steady strategy, the group's operation and management upgraded and steadily advanced. The 1+2+10 platform business model and dual-engine driving model complement each other. Tens of thousands of business projects are progressing smoothly. Each business sector and field has highlights, market recognition and customer relationships have strengthened, and key regional business work is stable and progressing. However, in the group's business platform upgrade and deep collaborative operation, there are still issues of insufficient maturity and suboptimal synergy. Although these are shortcomings in progress, we must plan ahead, control processes well, summarize results, and improve problems.

The chairman reviewed the work of the first half of the year from eight aspects and deeply deployed ten areas of work for the second half. He required all group members to fully commit and create value for national development and organizational growth under the guidance of national laws, regulations, and strategic policies, drawing from United Intelligence's corporate culture as the source, development goals as the direction, behavioral principles as the standard, and team strength as the condition.

In her speech, Executive Vice President Jin Piao said that United Intelligence Productivity Group has grown from a small specialized company focused on economic management research and consulting into an intelligence-driven group with multi-field development and diversified operations. For 24 years, innovation and struggle have always flowed in the blood of United Intelligence people. Regarding the group's marketing and financial work, Jin conducted in-depth reviews and analyses. She emphasized that strategic planning determines the future development of the enterprise, and employee growth is the resource for enterprise development. In the future, every United Intelligence member must cherish the opportunities provided by the group’s career platform, fully leverage United Intelligence’s approach, contribute to organizational development, achieve growth and progress, and strive together for a better tomorrow!

In her speech, Executive Committee Standing Member Li Yan said that in the first half of this year, with the completion of the 1+2+10 group business platform, the productivity group’s organizational and cultural construction has been continuously improved to support the group and its professional companies’ operation and management with a more complete and scientific structure. Li Yan proposed eight plans and arrangements for the second half’s planning and team building. She said that United Intelligence people are full of ideals and nourished by excellent corporate culture. We are fearless of difficulties and challenges. Every thorn and setback on the career development path is an opportunity for growth, and we feel this progress every day.

Executive Committee Standing Member Meng Yongge said that time flies like a white horse passing by. This year is United Intelligence’s 24th birthday and also her tenth year at United Intelligence, but she feels it is just the beginning of stepping onto the fast track of this noble cause. Facing this year’s internal and external economic environment and pressures, Meng summarized the first half’s work on system construction and compliance management at the group level. For future work, she conducted in-depth analysis and planning from five aspects including breaking through thinking bottlenecks and fully leveraging functional roles, expressing the intention to promote the group’s rapid and healthy development through an excellent system.

Afterwards, a video clip was played showing the United Intelligence professional company branch meeting hosted by Meng at the end of June in Xining. In the video, dozens of branch leaders passionately recited oaths and signed commitment letters pledging to comply with laws and regulations and never forget their mission.

United Intelligence Supervisory Board Chairman Chen Yan said that through 24 years of continuous development, United Intelligence’s group operation has presented a new state with a complete structure. Looking ahead, United Intelligence is based at a new starting point of high-quality development. The supervisory board, in line with the national rule of law trend, will comprehensively supervise operation and management, continuously strengthen its own construction, promote innovation and management through supervision, and facilitate the group’s sustainable, steady, and long-term development.

Several expert consultants of United Intelligence respectively delivered speeches, reviewing the 24-year journey. Every decisive achievement, every goal reached, every major breakthrough and gain stemmed from the careful planning of decision-makers and the precise implementation by executors, accumulating like grains of sand forming a tower. They fully affirmed the value created by United Intelligence’s cultural philosophy and integrity operation, and offered farsighted and practical valuable suggestions for current work and future development. The expert consultants expressed that they will continue to provide advice and strategies for the group’s operation and development, believing that United Intelligence will achieve better results and greater development under the 1+2+10 platform business model and dual-engine innovative model.

Subsequently, senior personnel from the Group Executive Committee's relevant business and management fields, including committee members Shi Xinhua, Li Qingwei, Han Xiuhong, Liu Chunxiang, Zhang Xin, and Man Wen, as well as representatives of new key employees, spoke. As the leading persons responsible in their respective fields, they summarized and reported on the work of the first half of the year based on their work scope, and made corresponding plans and arrangements for the next phase of business operations from aspects such as cultural construction, organizational construction, system construction, marketing, production operations, technology management, and administrative support. They stated that although the work was greatly affected by the pandemic, the work in the first half of this year has proceeded smoothly. They believe that under the wise leadership of the Chairman and the Group Executive Committee in the second half of the year, by firmly implementing the spirit of this meeting, building a talent echelon that "understands, knows, and can do," continuously breaking boundaries, expanding capabilities, improving systems, bravely undertaking new missions, and embarking on a new journey again!

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman emphasized in his summary that this is a critical moment for our Group's fleet to set sail and enter a new era wave. He hopes that the family members of United Wisdom's Contemporary Wisdom Tribe will further raise awareness and consciousness, join hands shoulder to shoulder, innovate and break through, "think it, say it, do it," and together create a new chapter of development with the spirit and strength of United Wisdom that has endured for a quarter of a century!
