On September 13, the 2023 "National Quality Certification Series Promotion and Experience Week" hosted by the State Administration for Market Regulation was launched in Hefei City, Anhui Province. The event fully kicked off a series of promotional activities including the "Green Product Certification and Labeling Promotion Week," "Organic Product Certification Promotion Week," and "Service Certification Experience Week," aiming to vigorously promote the effectiveness and role of quality certification, highlight the core value of quality certification, enhance public awareness, and advance the in-depth development of quality certification work.

At the launch ceremony, Lin Feng, Deputy Director of the Certification and Accreditation Technology Research Center of the State Administration for Market Regulation, announced the launch of the "China Service Certification Information Public Service Platform." This platform features policy dissemination, system innovation, capacity enhancement, and information inquiry functions. It is China's first integrated and comprehensive service certification information platform, providing strong support for further promoting innovation in service certification, enhancing the credibility of service certification, and boosting the high-quality development of the service industry.

Service certification is an important part of the national quality infrastructure. It plays a positive role in improving the quality and level of service supply, perfecting the service market supervision and governance system, and enhancing the international competitiveness of the service industry. So far, certification bodies with service certification qualifications cover all 22 major categories of the service industry. A total of 68,000 valid service certification certificates have been issued to 45,000 certified enterprises. During the five years of institutional reform, these numbers have increased by 12.3 times and 9.6 times respectively, showing a leapfrog growth trend.

Tell the story of quality certification well, prove the value created by quality certification with theory and facts, and continuously strengthen the sense of gain for all sectors of society; second, highlight the guiding effect and promote high-quality development of quality certification. Adhere to the principle of "serving the overall situation, serving society, and serving the industry," focus on the main line of "professionalism and credibility," and demonstrate the guidance of "quality certification creates value"; third, emphasize joint construction and sharing to gather the synergy of quality certification work. Guide practitioners to enhance service awareness and capabilities, create a good atmosphere of "understanding and using certification" throughout society, and maximize the momentum to promote quality certification work.
