2024 is a critical year for deeply advancing the implementation of the "National Standardization Development Outline" (hereinafter referred to as the Outline) and achieving the Outline's 2025 development goals. The overall requirement for standardization work in 2024 is: guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, conscientiously implement the deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference, adhere to high-quality development as the hard truth of the new era, regard promoting Chinese-style modernization as the greatest political task, fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development philosophy, strengthen quality support and standard guidance, deeply advance the implementation of key tasks in the Outline, implement the requirements of the National Market Supervision Work Conference, use standards to strongly lead the construction of a modern industrial system, focus on expanding domestic demand, fully enhance the level of openness, coordinate development and security, promote standardization to better serve the high-quality development of the economy and society, realize the development of the standardization cause itself, and contribute to comprehensively advancing the construction of a strong country and the great cause of national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization.
1. Focus on expanding domestic demand and accelerate the promotion of a new round of standard upgrades.
1. Expedite the revision of a batch of mandatory national standards for energy consumption limits and product equipment energy efficiency, formulate and revise pollutant emission standards in key industries such as pesticides, starch, petrochemicals, and uranium mining and metallurgy, leading the upgrading and transformation of traditional industries.
2. Strengthen the formulation and implementation of mandatory national standards for key industrial products related to safety and special equipment, achieving "being strong when should be strong, and as strong as possible when should be strong."
3. Promote the upgrading of standards in fields such as agricultural machinery equipment and CNC machine tools, facilitating the high-end, intelligent, and green upgrading and transformation of equipment and materials.

24. Focus on the development of integrated circuit standards such as chiplet interconnect interfaces and electronic design automation (EDA) tools, accelerating the construction of a full industrial chain standard system for integrated circuit design, manufacturing, and packaging and testing.
25. Promote the formulation of standards for robot whole machine reliability, information security, typical scenario application requirements, and promote the application of industrial and agricultural robots in various scenarios.
26. Develop a batch of national standards for large-scale application of Beidou, extending the value chain of large-scale Beidou applications.
