ISO certification is neither a temporary change nor something to rest easy about once the certificate is obtained. For enterprises, the ISO certification certificate is just the beginning of establishing and implementing the management system. How to do a good job with the ISO management system is an unavoidable problem that every enterprise needs to solve during its development. Before using the ISO management system to improve the problems encountered by the enterprise, there are two points that business owners need to understand: first, ISO cannot do everything. Second, ISO is a tool for long-term improvement, even requiring endless improvement!

Many business owners first truly need an ISO certification certificate when bidding, encountering the need for an ISO certification certificate on the bid documents to gain extra points. So they find some certification bodies, hoping to pay for the certificate. Some urgent bids even require expedited processing. As a result, some enterprises start with the mindset of paying for expedited certification, and some may even obtain the certificate without knowing what ISO certification is for! Some enterprises think this is a form of promotion, finding certification companies to get certified just because other enterprises have it, so their own must have it too! In fact, neither of these forms is the true purpose of the ISO management system!
What is the purpose of ISO management system certification? Simply put, it is to have enterprises follow the requirements of international management standards to improve and enhance the enterprise!
So what do the management system most need from enterprise management and employees? The editor thinks it is the following aspects.
First, it is necessary to cultivate awareness of improvement among all employees. Management needs to frequently promote and convey concepts such as standardized management and improving service levels to middle management;
Secondly, the company needs to organize regular training. ISO management system certification targets middle and senior management training. Ultimately, middle and senior management need to lead employees to learn and implement the ISO management system, improving the ISO management capabilities of all employees, allowing the entire enterprise to continuously improve and perfect within the ISO management system framework, ensuring that its work processes can be completed according to established requirements, and the system operates effectively!
It should be added that Fortune 500 companies all have long-term fixed or irregularly hired consulting firms to provide management services, in order to objectively discover enterprise problems and propose creative improvement ideas.

Based on the strategic plan proposed by the headquarters, United Zhiye takes the upgrade of its product system as a key driver to build a three-tiered business structure—comprising “zero-carbon factory solutions + carbon-related products + integrated comprehensive services”—and thereby develop end-to-end service capabilities. The original enterprise’s integrated approach to low-carbon development has been upgraded to an integrated approach to zero-carbon development, which we regard as a milestone event. While the zero-carbon factory business focuses on deepening engagement in the manufacturing sector, the integrated approach to zero-carbon enterprise development transcends industry boundaries, extending its reach to the service sector and thus covering a broader scope of services.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the latest revised "Administrative Measures for the Tiered Cultivation of High-Quality Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as the "Measures"), which have expanded the scope of cultivation by including technology-based SMEs in the tiered cultivation system for the first time. In the future, the tiered system for high-quality SMEs will encompass technology- and innovation-driven SMEs, specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs, and "Little Giant" enterprises that are specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative. The "Measures" will take effect from April 1, 2026.
Recently, five departments—the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration—jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Zero-Carbon Factories" (MIIT Joint [2026] No. 13, hereinafter referred to as the "Guiding Opinions"). These opinions aim to tap deeply into the potential for energy conservation and carbon reduction in the industrial and information technology sectors, drive carbon reduction and efficiency improvements in key industries, promote a green and low-carbon transformation, and foster the development of new-quality productive forces.
This standardization effort will provide an in-depth interpretation of the new version of the rules and systematically analyze the significant changes and implementation requirements of the new rules in areas such as audit procedures, responsibilities of top management, evidence management, and risk control.
