Review, Reflection, Growth — Insights from One Year of Work and Study Since Joining

A few days ago, I just signed a new labor contract with the company for another year, reminding me that it has been one year since I officially joined United Intelligence. Life needs some sense of ritual to make certain days different from others. After a busy day at work, I decided to take some time to write down some reflections on my first year of employment.

1. A good job can continuously improve oneself

United Intelligence is the first company I worked for after graduation. I come from Zibo, the birthplace of Qi culture, and my major in school was project management, which is somewhat closely related to certification. From the initial interview to officially joining the company, my reason for choosing United Intelligence was very clear: I sincerely recognized the company's corporate culture and management system. The company has a large platform and maintains close cooperation with domestic and overseas institutions in the industry. I am full of prospects for my professional future.

During my year of work, the company's senior leaders and colleagues have given me a lot of attention and care. Especially my mentor, Teacher Lv. To be honest, I sometimes tend to be forgetful at work, but she always patiently points out my mistakes and tirelessly helps me correct them, turning dangers into safety. This is also an area where I need to keep improving. With the support of leaders and colleagues, I am more confident in doing this job well and taking on my responsibilities. I have learned to listen and take notes to avoid repeating old mistakes. Through my own understanding, absorption, induction, and summarization, I feel I gain new insights every time.

2. Active communication and proactive exchange are needed at work

In certification work, communication is actually the most important. Especially for someone like me who has no prior experience, it feels like a mountain to cross. This includes certification of quality/environment/occupational health and safety management systems and textile product certification. Many of the company's products require learning from scratch. Continuous WeChat and QQ messages every day, deepening and proactive communication, allow each interaction to bring new growth, elevating my understanding of the certification industry to a new level.

3. Be responsible to the company, the clients, and yourself

I remember last year, due to impatience and negligence, I sent an invoice of a company to the wrong address. Although the courier was eventually tracked and the loss was recovered, I felt very guilty inside. If I had been more careful and checked again at that time, the mistake might not have happened, and the company would not have suffered losses because of it. This incident made me deeply realize the importance of work responsibility.

For those engaged in certification work, our job is to audit and issue certificates every day. Although it is just an ordinary piece of paper, the value and power behind it relate to the rise and fall of enterprises. We have confidence in our system certification products, value product quality, and respect the clients who use our system certification products. They may be small enterprises with three to five people or large companies with thousands of employees. We should be responsible to them and even more responsible to all consumers.

Finally, I thank the company for giving me this valuable opportunity to summarize, share, learn, and grow. I appreciate the trust and support of the leaders, the help and care of all colleagues, and the active cooperation they have given me at work. In the future work process, I will keep pace with the company's development, greatly improve my professional skills, and better shine and contribute in this big team.

Based on the strategic plan proposed by the headquarters, United Zhiye takes the upgrade of its product system as a key driver to build a three-tiered business structure—comprising “zero-carbon factory solutions + carbon-related products + integrated comprehensive services”—and thereby develop end-to-end service capabilities. The original enterprise’s integrated approach to low-carbon development has been upgraded to an integrated approach to zero-carbon development, which we regard as a milestone event. While the zero-carbon factory business focuses on deepening engagement in the manufacturing sector, the integrated approach to zero-carbon enterprise development transcends industry boundaries, extending its reach to the service sector and thus covering a broader scope of services.
